Energy infrastructure targeted in the region
The country's energy systems have faced escalating attacks in the past few days

Nine people were wounded while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and faced disruption to water supplies, per reports from municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a minor was fatally injured in a different Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has escalated assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has demanded "real steps" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

He said that 450 drones and more than 30 rockets targeted the country's power systems, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks hit power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and authorities were preparing for additional strikes.
